Blues Lessons

Bluesdancing is a family of dances all based on dancing to different styles of blues music. It focuses on the connection with the music and your partner. It is relaxed and highly improvisational but has strong foundations that tie the styles together. Bluesdancing is mainly a partner dance without fixed partner, but it can also be danced solo or in groups.

In the past, Swing Out Loud has succesfully organised our Roaring Twente parties together with Bluesdancing Enschede. Sadly, the blues dance scene in Enschede has scattered a bit over the past few years, but that doesn’t mean that the love of blues dancing has disappeared! In addition to also dancing some nice blues at our social dances in De Vluchte, some of our members travel together to other places in the Netherlands (and sometimes beyond) for blues classes and parties.

When our teachers find some extra time on their hands they might also host a small block of Blues lessons again in Enschede. Usually these blocks are around 3 lessons.
