About Lindy Hop

Dance, make new friends and have fun! That is what Swing Out Loud is all about. We are the association in Enschede/Twente that teaches Lindy Hop and other Swing Jazz related dances. With our weekly lessons and our regular parties we want to bring and spread the joy of dancing Lindy Hop!

Upcoming Events

beginner lesson and party @ het bolwerk:

Come dance with us to swinging Jazz music on this Sunday afternoon, the 24th of August, in Café het Bolwerk!

After a small demo, you can join a beginner workshop at 14.00.

Again, no experience or dance partner required, and absolutely free, although having a drink from the bar is appreciated.

From 15.00 until 18.00 everyone can stick around for a dance, a chat and a drink.

Open lessons, Enschede:

We host open lessons for beginners twice a year: In September and February.

The next open lessons are on Wednesday September 3rd and September 10th, 19.00h in Lumen, Enschede.
You can join these open lessons for free, no dance partner or previous experience required.

Roaring twente 2026: Tickets are now available!

On October 3rd and 4th, we will come together for the 5th edition of Roaring Twente!

Our very own festival with the chance to follow lessons given by international teachers! The Blue Ramblers will provide live music, and we will turn De Twentse Foodhal upside down.

Make sure to claim your ticket while they are still available. And let’s make it a festival to remember.
